No you dont want to put your feet all the way at the back towards the tail. If you do that then most likely, your 360 flip will turn into a mess.
You want to put your back foot at the bottom left corner of your board if your goofy.(Bottom right corner if your regular) Have your foot pointing slighty toward the front of the board.
Put your front foot roughly in the middle of the board with your foot also pointing slighty to the front of the board.
Now, you want to scoop your back foot and flick your front foot. You also will want to jump to your left a little bit if your goofy.(Jump to your right if your regular)
Some problems will be:
not rotating it enough: Either your not scooping enough or youre tring to guide your board with your front foot
You dont get enough flip: Either your front foot is too far to the front of the board or your front foot is too much on the board or not on the board enough
