Dominion Skateboards, located in the heart of Carytown, has been serving Richmond and surrounding areas for 15 years. We pride ourselves on our extensive selection and variety of skateboards and related accessories and apparel (Products). With over 250 different styles of shoes we have one of the largest shoe selections of any skateboard shop in the US, including youth size shoes down to 10C and many girls styles as well. We have a very knowledgeable staff and try very hard to meet our customer’s needs and expectations. Whenever possible if we do not have what a customer wants we will try to get it. We also try to offer our customer what we feel like is our most competitive price everyday on all our products. CARYTOWN LOCATION:
We are located at 3008 Cary Street in the heart of Carytown between Belmont and Sheppard. We have parking located behind the store. Below are directions to the store from various points around or outside of Richmond. To view a map click here: MAPQUEST DOMINION CARYTOWN

From Downtown Richmond:
Take Main Street (147W) headed West. Once you cross over Boulevard the street name changes to Ellwood. Take the second left after you cross Boulevard which should be Sheppard Street. You should see a parking lot on your right hand side. This is parking for the store. Park and walk around the front side of the shops on Cary Street.

From East of Richmond:
Take I-64 West and when you approach Richmond stay to the right and take the I-64 West/I-95 North exit. Follow to exit 79 (I-195 South) and take the first left exit 186 (195 South – Powhite Parkway). Then take the Cary Street exit. Stay in the left lane and proceed to the light. Turn left at the light onto Cary Street and we are approximately 5 blocks on the left side. If you want to park behind the store turn left on Belmont and then take a right in to the first alley, which leads to the parking lot behind the store. Park at the far end and walk around to the front of Cary

From the North or West:
If you are coming in on I-64 or I-95 from the north, watch for the signs for I-195 South (Powhite Parkway) which begins very close to the intersection of I-64 and I-95 on the west side of Richmond. Once you are on I-195 South (Powhite Parkway) take the Cary Street exit. Stay in the left lane and proceed to the traffic light. Turn left at the light onto Cary St. and we are approx 5 blocks on the left side. If you want to park behind the store turn left on Belmont and then take a right in to the first alley, which leads to the parking lot behind the store. Park at the far end and walk around to the front of Cary.

From South of Richmond:
You have several options here:

From Interstate 95: 95 N to exit 79 (195 South) and take the first left exit 186 (195 South – Powhite Parkway). Then take the Cary Street exit. Stay in the left lane and proceed to the light. Turn left at the light onto Cary Street and we are approximately 5 blocks on the left side. OR if you prefer to take the Downtown expressway off I-95 (there is a toll) then you can take exit 74A (VA-195 Toll/Downtown Expressway) and merge onto I-195 N. Follow to the Cary Street Exit. At the light turn Right onto Thompson and follow to the end. At the light at the end of Thompson turn left onto Cary and we are approximately 5 blocks on the left hand side. .

From Chippenham/Powhite Parkway: Take the Cary Street exit off the Powhite Parkway. Once you get to the traffic light at the top of the exit, take a right into Carytown. We are approximately 5 blocks on the left hand side.

From Midlothian Turnpike/Hueguenot Road: Follow Hueguenot Road headed East which turns into River Road (147 East). Stay straight on River Road, which turns into Cary Street. When you see the sign on your right, which says Carytown, we are five blocks down on the left hand side. If you want to park behind the store turn left on Belmont and then take a right in to the first alley, which leads to the parking lot behind the store. Park at the far end and walk around to the front of Cary Street.

The products we carry are constantly changing. Below is a list of most of the products we carry in our stores. If you would like to see a brand in our store that we do not carry please let us know and we will look into it.

WHY SHOP DOMINION:
There are a lot of places to buy skateboards. However, we strive to be more that just a place to buy your skateboard needs. We choose to make a commitment to skateboarding, and in doing so have tried to create a “skate community” in Richmond. We sponsor nine local skateboarders on our skate team, make videos of our skate team, hire skaters to work in the store, sponsor contests, and we try to do two or three demos of professional skateboarders every year. We believe our commitment to skateboarding pays off by creating the type of shop where skaters feel at home, like they are part of this community. If you agree with this philosophy remember that where you shop counts and make a commitment to support Richmond’s best skateboard shop.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY:
We do not accept returns on any used or washed items. All merchandise in new condition may be exchanged within 10 days of purchase with store receipt for store credit or exchange only. We do not issue refunds – cash, check, or credit card. Videos may only be exchanged if unopened. All items purchased on sale are a final sale and may not be returned or exchanged. Skateboards and skateboard accessories do not have a warranty of any kind and we will not replace broken, chipped, or used skateboards or parts for any reason. If you feel the product is defective you must return it to the manufacturer who will then determine if the product is to be replaced. Skateboard shoes are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days from date or purchase. You must have your receipt. This does not include holes or wear from skateboarding or other wear and tear. All shoe companies reserve the right to repair or replace defective shoes at their discretion upon examination. (This means all defects must be returned to the manufacturer.) We are happy to assist you in returning defective products to the manufacturer but will not replace without approval from the company pending their examination of the product. All defective videos must be returned for the same title only. We post our policy and we appreciate our customers being informed consumers and respecting our store policy.
